We are the largest single hospital democratic group in New Jersey. We have been at our location since 1993. All our physicians are ACEP members and all are board certified or board prepared. Last year we treated approximately100,000 patients. We have excellent physician staffing in our emergency department. We have a complete back up on call roster.
This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or an experienced emergency physician.
Full-time position -- 1560 clinical (minimum). Additional hours generally available.
Paid monthly -- fixed rate per shift for initial 6 months then productivity based.
Probationary period -- Minimum of one year.
Provided by Group at group's expense:

Malpractice (1M/3M) provided by EPIC RRG

ACEP dues
Hospital dues
Disability coverage available at group discount.
Per Diem positions available, excellent compensation, receive no benefits except malpractice coverage.

Productivity Pay
Based upon RVU system after 6 months.
Shareholder Offering
Upon end of probation, Board Certification and approval by Board.
Profit Sharing
Amount determined on an annual basis.
Bonus
Amount determined on an annual basis.
HolidayPay
$50/hour (Holidayshifts/hours defined yearly by Board).
Night differential
Additional $50.00 per hour.
Spending Account
Ability to attain higher dollar amounts in Spending Account.
Emergency Department Volume 100,000 for 2011.
We are the busiest ED inNew Jersey and one of the busiest on the East coast.
We are staffed in our Main department to see 1.9-2.1 patients per hour.
NEW EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
First section of the new Emergency Department opened in August of 2005.
New triage, minor treatment, pediatrics and lobby areas.
April 2007-new ambulance entrance, cardiac, trauma, rapid assessment area and 2 “pods”.
Our final pod opened in September 2008.
Current bed count -- 86.
Holding area renovated.
The department has;
65,000 sq. ft.
86 beds
Rapid assessment area, pediatrics unit, minor treatment area.
This makes us one of the largest Emergency Departments on the East Coast.

Main ED 74 hours/day
Minor Treatment 18 hours/day
Kidcare 16 hours/day
8, 9, 10 hour shifts.
24/7 pediatrician coverage in the department.
12 hour per day NP coverage
