In our Emergency Department, children are not just little adults. They have their own area where Pediatric Specialists and pediatric nurses attend to their care in an efficient and competent manner. Children are special and our staff makes an effort to see children as quickly as possible and not allow them to wait in midst of sick adults. Furthermore, the staff does its best to alleviate the natural anxiety a child and their parents experience coming to the seemingly intimidating world of an emergency department. KidCare operates from 8am til 12 midnight. From the hours of midnight til 8 am we have a pediatrician stationed in our main department for the care of children.
